How CFS works

From first login to the next load.

Bring your people, freight and working records into a workspace built for your business. CFS connects the steps from account setup to planning, coordination and the review that follows delivery.

Start with your business

The right workspace comes first.

Your business type shapes the tools and navigation you see.

Carrier / owner operator

Manage drivers, equipment, dispatch and fleet records with an operating plan. Carriers who primarily need to find freight can choose Load Board Only for marketplace access.

Brokerage

Coordinate customers, brokered loads, partner carriers and agencies. Give your team access to the records and operating tools needed to arrange transportation through your brokerage.

Carrier + brokerage

Run both sides of the business from one company dashboard. Carrier operations and brokerage activity share a workspace while keeping their applicable operating authorities distinct.

Shipper

Post your own freight, review offers and bookings, exchange messages and organize freight documents. The shipper workspace focuses on the work of arranging your shipments.

Available features also follow your selected plan and individual permissions.

Getting started

A clear path into your workspace.

  1. Choose a plan and create your login

Start on the plans page, select your business type, then create your account. If you have a CFS activation code, use the activation option.

  2. Confirm your email and add company details

Follow the email confirmation step, sign in, and enter your company name, business contacts and applicable authority numbers. Your plan selection follows you through setup.

  3. Complete the required company review

Full carrier, brokerage and combined plans require an application and supporting business records. Save a draft, submit for review, and respond if CFS requests more information.

  4. Review and activate your access

Follow the status shown in your account. Paid access requires verified payment or an eligible activation code. Load Board Only has no company-approval wait; checkout availability is shown in Billing & Plan.

The daily workflow

Keep the next step in view.

Start with a useful load record. Keep responsibilities, updates and paperwork connected as the work moves forward.

Planning → Coordination → Records → Review
  1. Plan the load

Capture the customer, route, appointments, equipment needs and agreed terms. Choose company equipment or outside-carrier execution as your workspace allows. Supported carrier workflows also offer Smart Match for reviewing driver options.

  2. Coordinate the people

Assign responsibility and keep the load status current. Use the company board, shared load board and Marketplace where available to manage opportunities, questions, offers and accepted bookings.

  3. Keep updates and documents together

Attach confirmations, bills of lading and delivery paperwork. Review load communications and available tracking information, including the location source and its timestamp, before sharing an update.

  4. Close out and review

Check completion records, missing documents and recorded charges. Review invoices, expenses, driver pay and commissions where available, then use reports to examine activity and identify work needing follow-up.

Around the load

Tools for the rest of the operation.

People & capacity

Customer and carrier records, driver profiles, equipment, agencies, rate cards and compliance information support day-to-day decisions in eligible workspaces.

Communication & documents

Keep working messages, load correspondence and document records accessible to the people responsible for the next action.

Business visibility

Review recorded revenue, costs, receivables, payables and operational reports. The quality of those views depends on keeping the underlying records current.

Before you start

A few useful details.

Understand what account access and connected tools provide.

Can I explore the load board first?

The preview shows selected lane, date and rate information. Full load details, contacts, documents and offer actions require the appropriate account access.

How does tracking work?

Tracking depends on a configured source and received location data. Driver-phone tracking requires location sharing. Check the source, timestamp and connection status to understand each position.

How does my team join the company?

Your company administrator sends an invitation with the appropriate role and permissions. Each person signs in with their own account and joins the company or agency named in the invitation.

Can I manage regular freight and touring work?

Yes. General freight follows the standard load workflow. Optional touring tools keep multiple stops and trucks connected when the movement needs more coordination. Choose a plan with the capabilities your operation needs.
